Du haut de sa colline domine la vall\u00e9e en contrebas o\u00f9, \u00e0 l'horizon, on peut facilement reconna\u00eetre Sienne. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fond\u00e9e \u00e0 la fin du Moyen \u00c2ge, \u00e0 la fin du XIVe si\u00e8cle, San Gusm\u00e8 a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 sous l'influence de Sienne et elle a suivi son destin avec l'annexion au Grand-Duch\u00e9 de Toscane.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Une partie de la structure originale reste aujourd'hui des puissants murs de fortification, m\u00eame s'ils sont partiellement incorpor\u00e9s aux b\u00e2timents du village, et des deux portes d'entr\u00e9e. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">San Gusm\u00e8 est encore aujourd'hui un exemple de <strong>village fortifi\u00e9<\/strong>, de forme grossi\u00e8rement circulaire, d\u00e9limit\u00e9 par des murs qui existent encore en partie. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A l'entr\u00e9e du village se trouve une int\u00e9ressante <strong>statuette en terre cuite<\/strong> repr\u00e9sentant un homme soucieux de ses besoins quotidiens. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la statue, on peut lire \"roi, empereur, pape, philosophe, po\u00e8te, fermier et ouvrier: l'homme dans ses fonctions quotidiennes. Ne riez pas, pensez \u00e0 vous\". <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La <strong>l\u00e9gende<\/strong> li\u00e9e \u00e0 la statuette semble avoir son origine \u00e0 la fin du XIXe si\u00e8cle, lorsque le propri\u00e9taire du village, fatigu\u00e9 de devoir nettoyer la salet\u00e9 de ses grossiers m\u00e9c\u00e8nes, construisit une pi\u00e8ce ext\u00e9rieure portant l'inscription <i>Bain public<\/i>. Mais comme les clients \u00e9taient illettr\u00e9s, personne ne l'utilisait et le probl\u00e8me de la salet\u00e9 et des mauvaises odeurs subsistait. Il a donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de faire une figurine repr\u00e9sentant un homme accroupi pour ses propres besoins. Les gens ont finalement compris l'utilisation du placard et l'endroit est revenu propre. La statuette a \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9e \"<strong>Luca Cava<\/strong>\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.16\" text_orientation=\"center\"
