La principale fortification et le c\u0153ur de l\u2019agglom\u00e9ration est l\u2019ancienne <strong>Rocca<\/strong>, con\u00e7ue dans la seconde moiti\u00e9 du XVe si\u00e8cle par <strong>Giuliano da Sangallo<\/strong>. De son imposante tour du 14\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, on peut admirer toute la ville et la campagne environnante.<\/p>\n<p>A l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du Rocca se trouvent les bureaux de la commune de Castellina et le <strong>Mus\u00e9e Arch\u00e9ologique du Chianti<\/strong>, o\u00f9 sont expos\u00e9s des vestiges et des d\u00e9couvertes arch\u00e9ologiques importants des alentours, en t\u00e9moignage des origines anciennes de la r\u00e9gion du Chianti.<\/p>\n<p>Le mus\u00e9e est divis\u00e9 en trois domaines th\u00e9matiques et les objets expos\u00e9s appartiennent principalement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque du Bronze, \u00e9trusque ou sont des restes trouv\u00e9s dans l\u2019ancienne structure m\u00e9di\u00e9vale de la ville. On y expose \u00e9galement plusieurs t\u00e9moignages de fouilles environnantes, qui font du mus\u00e9e un lieu adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les \u00e2ges, dot\u00e9 m\u00eame d\u2019outils interactifs d\u2019apprentissage.<\/p>\n<p>Sous les anciens murs, il y a un tunnel souterrain pittoresque, aujourd\u2019hui connu comme la <strong>Via delle Volte<\/strong>, qui abrite des magasins, des ateliers d\u2019artisans et des restaurants; le tunnel tourne autour de la ville, en enfermant sous le centre historique. Il fut un temps o\u00f9 c\u2019\u00e9tait une route ouverte, mais quand il fut n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019\u00e9tendre la ville, il fut d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de construire sur cette route, en la transformant en un tunnel \u00e0 la conformation particuli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019<strong>\u00e9glise de San Salvatore<\/strong> m\u00e9rite sans aucun doute une visite. Reconstruite en 1945 apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9vastation subie pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, elle abrite encore une remarquable fresque de Lorenzo Bicci repr\u00e9sentant la Vierge Marie avec l\u2019Enfant et une statue en bois de l\u2019\u00e9poque de la Renaissance.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.16\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<iframe loading=\"lazy\"
