Son territoire est travers\u00e9 par <strong>les rivi\u00e8res Merse et Farma<\/strong> qui donnent vie \u00e0 deux magnifiques r\u00e9serves naturelles, lieux de paix et de tranquillit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>r\u00e9serve naturelle du torrent Farma<\/strong> est situ\u00e9e entre Monticiano et Roccastrada et a une extension de 1500 hectares de collines caract\u00e9ris\u00e9es par des bois, de petites zones utilis\u00e9es pour la culture et des parcelles de p\u00e2turage. La <strong>r\u00e9serve naturelle de l'Alto Merse<\/strong> est situ\u00e9e entre Chiusdino, Monticiano. Les deux zones sont entour\u00e9es de bois d'arbres anciens et repr\u00e9sentent une alternative valable pour les excursions, les bains thermaux et les voyages en dehors de la ville.<\/p>\n<p>Nous parlons de bains thermaux car tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s des deux r\u00e9serves mentionn\u00e9es ci-dessus, il y a les <strong>Terme di Petriolo<\/strong>, dont les sources th\u00e9rapeutiques coulent \u00e0 43\u00b0 et sont riches en sels et en propri\u00e9t\u00e9s b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques. Cette oasis de bien-\u00eatre a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e et fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e par les familles les plus illustres de l'histoire telles que les M\u00e9dicis, les Malatesta et les Gonzaga.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le quartier de Monticiano se trouve \u00e9galement le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre <strong>jardin Kurt Laurenz Metzler<\/strong>, fond\u00e9 en 1995.
